About
Mia Gilling is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary creative with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design.
Inspired by psychedelic artwork, rock ‘n’ roll aesthetics of the ‘70s, punk zine culture, and surrealism, she often experiments with nostalgic and dreamlike colors, typefaces and textures in her work. While designing for a predominately digital landscape, she appreciates adding analog touches to her work, whether it be through scanning physical media, collaging elements by hand, or shooting on film.
